Honestly, the note-perfect casting of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken was enough for the Internet to be sold on Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie, but it sure didn't stop there.

Though the trailers have kept the story largely under wraps, they have revealed the existence of many, many different Barbies and Kens in the film, seemingly intended to diversify what these characters can look like.

On the Barbie side, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey (aka Margot Robbie's clone), Dua Lipa, Nicola Coughlan, and Ritu Arya will play various versions, while for Ken, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, and Ncuti Gatwa will play his alternates.

And that's not all - Michael Cera plays Ken's pal Allan, Emerald Fennell is Barbie's bestie Midge, Will Ferrell will appear as a toy company CEO, Helen Mirren narrates the movie, and America Ferrera, Rhea Perlman, and John Cena have been cast in unknown roles.

Thing is going to be cameo-city, that's for sure, and from what we've seen so far, the cast is going to have an absolute blast performing in this candy-coloured world.
