Aquaman has been much-maligned as a character by those movie fans not overly familiar with him - they believe his power-set is one that shouldn't be taken seriously. They are wrong. In addition to his ability to communicate with sea-life, he is also a superhumanly fast swimmer, incredibly super-strong and ridiculously durable, in addition to being a skilled combatant. However, his traditional costume is what people should be worried about, because that could come across silly in live action. Assuming it's going to be truer to the comic books than the version seen in Smallville, Jason Momoa's version could be wearing a scaly outfit that makes him look ridiculous. Do DC and Warner Brothers attempt to make that look appear formidable or do they alter his look completely? It could be a no-win situation for them.
