10 Utter Trash Horror Movies You Loved Anyway

5. Truth Or Dare

2018's Truth or Dare was rightly panned by critics, but that doesn't mean it isn't a whole lot of fun.

The film centers around a group of college students who end up ensnared in a deadly game of truth or dare, where those who lie or refuse to do a dare end up dying horribly brutal deaths.

Basically what you get if you order Final Destination from Wish, Truth or Dare is an hilariously stupid PG-13 horror flick that's nevertheless absurdly entertaining.

Between the ridiculous death scenes and questionable decision to have those who lose the game sport a distorted smiling face before they die - not unlike a terrible Snapchat filter - it's an absolute riot of chaotic, unintentional comedy.

Furthermore, the characters are largely a strangely unlikeable set, compounded by a truly insane ending which sets up one hell of a sequel.

While the film's massive box office success - grossing $95.3 million on a mere $3.5 million budget - seemingly confirmed Truth or Dare to be the next big, trashy annualised horror franchise, bafflingly no sequels have materialised as of yet.
