10 Valentine's Horror Films That Will Make You Glad To Be Single

2. May

May follows the story of a lonely girl trying to figure life out in a hard-knock world, and the harsh realisation that one can never truly love a person as a whole. Like Lover's Lane, May forces you to beg the question, "what the hell is Anna Faris doing here?", and further than that, "why is Anna Faris using giving her cat away as aggressive seduction?" May takes the advice of her clearly not-quite-right mother who tells her as a child, "if you can't find a friend, make one", which is terrible advice, especially when presenting the child with an even creepier Coraline. Despite not really speaking at all, May manages to attract the attentions of Adam (hunky Jeremy Sisto) and Polly (pretty attractive Anna Faris) and has horribly awkward affairs with both of them. Things start to get weird May starts interacting with her super-creepy Coraline doll (a.k.a. her best friend), which is reminiscent of Kenneth's conversations with the sex doll in Love Object, but thankfully less sexual. Then a lot of blood happens and, well, I won't spoil it for you, but next time you date someone a bit off just don't tell them, "I love weird".
