10 Video Games Movies We Want To See (And Who Should Direct)

8. Portal €“ Matthew Vaughn

PortalsVideo Game: Those who have already played Portal know the intrigue of the series. Utilising a handheld gun that creates portals, one to enter and another to leave wherever applicable, the main character bounces, jumps, and spins through the testing facility of Aperture Laboratories as pretty much a testing rat. The game's use of physics forces players to think out the puzzles of how to find their way through each room by entering one user-created portal and coming out a perfectly placed second one. Director: With the neat use of visuals due to the back and forth usage of its own brand of physical laws, Portal would need someone who can really know how to handle those reins. The director of Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class, Matthew Vaughn, may be the guy who knows how to take advantage of the unique concept. Best of all as to why Vaughn would be a good choice, there is an actual story behind the entire game, something that is laced with humor, which MV should be able to tackle with his resume of sharp visuals and a potent story.
