In the late 1990s, Jeremy Sisto had already caught viewers’ attention with appearances in Clueless and the crime thriller Suicide Kings when he chose to play Jesus in the eponymous 1999 film. Coming on the heels of director Roger Young’s other biblical TV movies Joseph, Moses, and Solomon, the film co-stars Gary Oldman and fellow 90’s phenomenon Debra Messing.

Though Sisto has primarily played likeable characters through his career, his rich douche in Clueless and his emotionally unstable jerk Billy in Six Feet Under are memorable troublemakers.

However, his most villainous performance is his breakthrough as Vassago the Satanic serial killer in 1995’s Hideaway. Not only was he a stone-cold murderer and a suicidal maniac, but he terrorized Alicia Silverstone in this movie before attempting to woo her the same year in Clueless.
