10 Villains Better For Ben Affleck’s Solo Batman Movie

1. Hush

If Affleck's Batman film is going to be containing a number of different foes, then Hush is a perfect fit as the one making it all happen. However, even if there's just the one big threat, there's plenty reason for it to be him, with this iteration of Batman clearly haunted by the past.

Hush was Tommy Elliot, a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. Hating his abusive father and submissive mother, he cut the brake cables on their car, killing his dad, but his mother was ultimately saved by Thomas Wayne, causing a deep-seated resentment of Bruce that festered throughout the years, particularly when Bruce inherited a fortune after his parents' death.

That's the sort of backstory that can create a lot of emotional conflict in the film, with the ghosts of Bruce Wayne's past coming back. Best of all, Hush's attempts to defeat Batman include not just a roll call of his biggest enemies, but Jason Todd (supposedly, anyway), who was believed to be deceased, and is the dead' Robin we saw the costume of in Batman v Superman.

Hush is capable of matching Batman physically, meaning he'd be a more than fitting main villain for Bats to fight, after a film that has seen him emotional and mentally challenged, as well as physically (especially if they go down the route of having numerous villains), and getting to do some detective work as he figures out just who the person working against him is. He's never been seen before in live-action form, so is really new to audiences, and builds on the Jason Todd groundwork, while subverting any expectations of the Red Hood.

Which villains do you want to see in Affleck's Batman movie? Deathstroke, one of these 10, or someone else entirely? Share your thoughts down in the comments.
