10 Ways The Batman V Superman Fight Could End

9. Superman Wins

A slightly less likely one, given the habitual overstatement of Batman's abilities. Still, Dawn Of Justice is a sequel to Man Of Steel, so fans have to at least entertain the possibility that Zach Synder and friends will let the big guy win (even if he does get second billing to Batman in the title). Still, it's not as if there isn't some precedence for it in the comics. Videogame tie-in Injustice: Gods Among Us, for example, sees a furious alternate-Universe Superman break into the Batcave and snap Batman across his knee like Supernanny gone mad. Try fixing that one with a rope and a pit full of criminals. Of course, Dawn Of Justice is never going to go so far, even if it does let common sense - and Superman - win out in the end. Perhaps the best Clark can hope for is a Rocky-style victory in which both men are still standing at the end but Supes wins on a technicality. Lest we forget, also, that for all of his flair in The Dark Knight Returns, Batman was essentially playing for time until his fake heart attack kicked in. Eventually, he would have run out of tricks, Superman (already weakened from an earlier collision with a nuclear bomb) would have recovered and Bats would surely have been thrashed to within an inch of his life. Or not. The Boy Scout is too nice a guy for that sort of grandstanding, even in Miller's book.
