The most likely outcome. After all, Snyder, DC and WB are playing the long game here - the establishment of a living, breathing DC Universe. As the heaviest hitters within that Universe, they can't really have either Batman or Superman definitively beaten by the other in their very first outing together. It's the same reason there was a three-way tie between Thor, Captain America and Iron Man in The Avengers. Give it a few movies, maybe, but even then, Snyder and DC will want Batman and Superman to be seen as peers. Having one stomp the other into submission (even if it is Batman) won't really achieve that. By leaving the fight partly unresolved, that also won't rid future Justice League movies or Batman/Superman sequels from any further tension. It's the same reason why Captain America 3 will be telling Civil War - if Cap and Stark had ironed out their troubles in The Avengers, watching them fight again would make it all feel awfully redundant.
