8. Crossover Events Could Be An Even Bigger Deal
Avengers: Endgame is the biggest superhero movie of all-time, and it's honestly hard to imagine how Marvel Studios will ever top that. In fact, it probably explains why there's no new Avengers movie in Phase 5 as there needs to be some breathing room between that epic "Infinity Saga" finale and whatever comes next for the franchise (so it's not automatically overshadowed).
So, while Marvel Studios is struggling to top what's come before, the DCEU has the chance to launch crossover events which may not be as grand in scale, but are an even bigger deal in other respects.
Picture this: a Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson, Christian Bale, and Michael Keaton as their own respective versions of the Caped Crusader. If not that, how about a film where characters from the world of Watchmen find themselves clashing with familiar faces from the DC Universe? (a concept not all that different to the recent Doomsday Clock comic book event).
Those are just random ideas, but crossovers in the DCEU are about to become even bigger...
