10 Ways DCEU's New Multiverse Could Outshine The MCU
5. Television And Film Worlds Collide
Crisis on Infinite Earths on The CW actually introduced the idea of a DC Multiverse for the first time and delivered a memorable moment which saw Ezra Miller's Flash come face to face with Grant Gustin's. That may have been a throwaway cameo at the time, but it now feels like it was setting the stage for something bigger, and that's definitely cause for excitement.
While Marvel's TV shows have thus far been set in, but still far apart from, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the next wave on Disney+ will finally tie into what we see on the big screen.
Moving forward, Warner Bros. can start picking and choosing the actors and characters from television they want to bring into their movies; need a Green Arrow? Why not use a returning Stephen Amell who, in the world created by Barry Allen's trip through time, is the DCEU's Emerald Archer? Whether it's that or a crossover, the ball is definitely in this shared world's court now.
