Thors vision in Age Of Ultron and his subsequent knowledge of the Infinity Stones makes it very likely that hes going to come in contact with one soon. Looking at the rumoured plot details of Ragnarok, and an obvious location stands out for where one could be hidden. Similar to the Dark Dimension, Hel is a suitably hellish realm that Thor is poised to visit during his next outing. Ruled by Hela, allegedly the villainess Cate Blanchett will be playing, this dimension houses all of the dishonourable souls of the nine realms. And, frankly, the ruler of hell capturing souls with the Soul Stone does make a ton of sense. Helas connection with the Stone could go even deeper, since fans of the famous Infinity Gauntlet storyline will remember that most of what Thanos does is to attract the attention of his love, Mistress Death. While she may be too abstract a concept to include in the MCU, Hela could easily take her place, and her relationship to a Stone would only make Thanos's affection that much easier to understand. Regardless of whether its being used for one of her and Lokis scenes or its simply buried under a sea of bodies, its hard to imagine that Thor wouldnt find a Stone here.
