10 Ways Marvel Could Reveal The Remaining Infinity Stones

5. Powering Wakanda

Wakanda is a remarkable nation. The fictitious African country is a technological marvel, centuries more advanced than the outside world. Governed by the Black Panther, they are also heavily secluded, protecting their secrets within their own walls. An obvious explanation for how they€™re so advanced and why they€™re so reticent to let outsiders in, is that their innovations are being fuelled by an Infinity Stone. Perhaps the Time Stone has advanced time for them, allowing them to grasp the future, and bring that technology back. Likewise, it could allow for Black Panther to interact with his dead predecessors as he frequently does in the comics. It would also represent the kind of object that a villain like Klaw would love to steal, which could be the backbone of the movie's plot. The biggest reason to not have this play out is that it greatly diminishes Wakanda€™s accomplishments. All of a sudden, instead of their prosperity stemming from their seclusion and technical advancement, it€™s all powered by a magic rock. Considering Black Panther looks to be a major character going forward, that€™s likely not the kind of way Marvel is looking to portray his people.
