9. "Leave That To Me" - Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer
The trailer for Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer placed pieces of dialogue together that were completely unrelated in the movie itself. Johnny Storm asked "how do you fight something that eats planets?" He was referring to Galactus, of course, and Reed Richards seemed to reply "leave that to me". This would suggest that Richards had come up with a plan to actually repel the planet devourer, which led some people to believe they'd be seeing the Ultimate Nullifier on screen. However, in the movie itself, those bits of dialogue were from completely different conversations and Richards didn't actually have any way of defeating Galactus. Instead, the Fantastic Four had to rely on the Silver Surfer rebelling against his master in order to save the Earth.
