1. Showing Up Late
Here's a piece of advice you've probably already have had drilled into you by any film school in the world. You can be anything in the entertainment industry including a drug addict, multiple felon, sex offender, but you cannot be be late showing up on set. It is the cardinal rule of the showbiz/film school world. Those who are late are fired. Now you can't exactly be fired at film school. Everyone is working as a volunteer force to get something done together and if you fire somebody then they cannot be replaced. However someone can become so unpopular that everyone wishes to see the art department redress the set in their guts. One of the quickest ways to accomplish this is to show up late. Being punctual is not good enough at film school, you must be early. If you are that person who is never early either you need to break a habit or choose a different dream to pursue.
