10 Ways To Be Outed As A Film School Graduate

10. Ignoring Financial Aid Financial Aid Everyone knows that financial aid is a something they have to do, but it can be such a headache. It doesn't help that most universities while sometimes having a great faculty have horrible administration and your financial advisor may never have anything done on time forcing you to be proactive on their behalf. These situations usually end in the student's misfortune because many procrastinate when it comes to securing financial aid. It is a boring, tedious task after all. The problem is that students who ignore financial aid or put it off to the last moment may find themselves no longer in film school and trust me trying to get back in at that point will be an administrative nightmare. Two pieces of advice: 1) Do not wait to take care of financial aid, do so right away, and 2) Always take loans from the banks the schools advise you to. A little known fact about universities is they have banks they like to work with and if you don't use one of those banks your financial aid may be something that you must take care of alone.
