9. Being A Progeny
This is a sad truth for most art schools. Most students hate whoever is the best because it means they are better than they are. Everyone is competing to be the best and use their university experience to propel them into a career. All students hope that their work there will be the start of a big break and when someone comes along who is so much better than everyone else sickening jealousy begins to flare. If you are that person who is truly better than everyone be warned: no one is going to like you. If you are the type of person who is good at what you do, but comparable to others than you'll have many more friends. This isn't entirely one hundred percent true of course, but if you've been to film school then you know what I mean.
