10 Ways The MCU Can Reboot Deadpool
1. Something Else Entirely
Although a slew of MCU movies has been confirmed, we still don't really have a clear picture of the MCU post-Snap. Spider-Man: FFH was more of an epilogue than the first chapter in this new era. With so many question marks and the rumor mill churning out new gossip every week, Deadpool may make his introduction in ways we can't yet imagine.
A cameo in a non-X-Men film isn't a crazy thought. Though Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or Spider-Man 3 seems like a logical option, who's to say he won't pop up in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings or even in Thor: Love and Thunder? At this point, anything is possible.
Why should Marvel stick Deadpool's debut in a film when they could just as easily let him drop in on an episode of a Disney+ show? The Netflix shows found creative ways to work characters like The Whizzer and Stilt-Man into their stories. If written into the plot reasonably (and tuning down the meta nature of the character) Deadpool could easily clash with the Winter Soldier or appear in one of Scarlet Witch's created realities.
There's no word on when Deadpool will enter the MCU, giving fans plenty of time to dream up creative ways to introduce the character. It's almost a guarantee that Ryan Reynolds will have significant control of the character moving forward and who knows what ideas he's cooked up?
One thing is for certain — whenever Deadpool graces our screens again, it won't be soon enough.
