10 Ways To Reboot The Amazing Spider-Man Correctly

1. Above All, Be Different Than The Previous Two Sony Iterations

In the end, the main thing we imagine fans want from another Spider-Man reboot is that it be significantly different from the previous two incarnations, while staying true to the roots of the character. We've already been saddled with one reboot that is far too similar to the original trilogy and could do without another one. In many ways it is sad that these rumours have even started to trickle out from Sony, as it strikes us that thinking in Hollywood is starting to extend purely to 'This isn't working as well as we'd hoped. Let's just start again'. The success of certain reboots, like Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, has convinced executives that this is the answer to any of their tricky franchise problems. Chances are, however, that if they don't take a long hard look at the problems they are experiencing, any reboot may be doomed to repeat the same mistakes, which is what we feel happened with The Amazing Spider-Man. Judging by the crossroads Sony is currently sitting at, it appears that they didn't exactly iron out the kinks of their previous franchise the way they had hoped. The buzzword therefore is 'different'. Give us something new and fresh with Spider-Man and we're positive that audiences will come flocking back. What do you think? Are there any other viable options for rebooting the Webhead? Should he even be rebooted again at all? Let us know in the comments section below.
