2. They Hate The Future
Having a bad day? Well according to film lore, the future is only going to get worse. Nuclear fallout, Totalitarian régimes, technological warfare, you name it. If the time travellers of cinema are anything to be believed, the present day is a dam sight better than what is to come that is, of course, unless they can make a change. Quite a few time travellers seem intent of staying put in our present. Some cannot return, whilst the rest dont want to. This usually leads to one of two outcomes, the time traveller opting to sacrifice himself or herself for the modern world or a mind bending alternate future were a future dweller lives before theyvelived. Most likely to say: In about 30 years, everything changes.
