10 Ways You Know Your Partner Is A Horror Movie Villain

9. Your Partner Is A Little Vengeful...Okay, A Lot Vengeful...

Swimfan After an unsuccessful poker game among friends, your disappointed significant other excuses him/herself to go to the bathroom. About twenty minutes later, they come back a little winded, which confuses you, but you continue entertaining the small group of company you have over. A few hours later, once everyone has gone home, you ask what happened when they had gone earlier. Turns out, instead of going to the bathroom, they snuck out of the house and keyed the jackpot winner€™s car. Stunned, you just nod and continue to clean up after the party. Sure, they were just letting off steam, nothing anyone else wouldn€™t do, right? Wrong. This is tip of the iceberg. Horror villain, Madison Bell from the 2002 thriller Swimfan, is extremely vengeful. Granted, her flick is not horror, but she does have a body count of three and a dark murderous plot for a main character swimming around in her head (you see what I did there? Swimming?). From the beginning, there was something off about the otherwise enchanting Madison Bell. When given the chance, she had sex and ultimately fell in love with lead male Ben Cronin, who immediately regrets his momentary lapse in monogamous judgement. After being told several times, both indirectly and straight-up-in-her-face directly, Madison sets up plotting revenge for being thwarted from her perfect love triangle. She was ready to do anything to show Ben that she truly loved him and that she didn€™t take kindly to being told no, even if that meant bashing in his friend€™s skull with a baseball bat, shooting two police officers, and tying his girlfriend to a chair at the bottom of a swimming pool. Of course, how can anyone forget her iceberg tip of vengeance? Slipping drugs into Ben€™s urine sample before his big swim meet. It€™s all small stuff in the beginning...
