This ones just plain creepy. Why would someone head into an auditorium with 200+ seats and fewer than a dozen people in them, scan the room for a prime viewing spot and then plonk themselves right next to one of the only other living beings in the room? There is some logic to it, we suppose, depressing as it is. Either this lone cinemagoer has decided that the best seat in the house has decided that youve already taken the best seats in the house and the next best thing is to get as close as possible to you so that their experience isnt completely ruined, or theyre just plain lonely and want a semblance of human closeness, if only for an hour or two. Reasons they may be, but theyre still highly irritating and a bit creepy. People go to the movies to escape for a little while: from their jobs, their lives and, frankly, from other people. Its why they turn the lights down (almost) all the way and everyones facing the same direction you dont have to look anyone in the eye. What do you think of our guide to cinema etiquette? Are you a repeat offender of some of these? We know we are. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
