10 Ways Zack Snyder Can Screw Up Superman Batman

6. Relying On Batman's Success

The Dark Knight Rises Given that this is a Zack Snyder movie and not a Christopher Nolan one, I can't help but feel like this should operate as a functional Man of Steel sequel and not merely as a gimmicky tag team movie. There's the worry that, given how the Caped Crusader's last two outings grossed over $1 billion each, he will take the lion's share of the screen time, while Supes, whose last film grossed only ar0und 2/3 of that so far, will be the more peripheral character. It would be easy to defer to Batman in such a cynical way, though given how much effort Snyder has put into rebooting the Man of Steel, hopefully that will not all be for nothing - hopefully Superman will not be made a glorified sidekick, especially considering how much more powerful he is than Batman.
