10 Weird Times Actors Responded To Online Reviews
1. Sam Worthington Agreed With IMDB Complaints, Felt Like An "Idiot" - Terminator Salvation
Despite considerable pre-release hype, Terminator Salvation released to predominantly negative reviews from critics and a massive swath of indifference from long-suffering fans.
A few years later, star Sam Worthington - who plays man-machine hybrid Marcus Wright - spoke up about the intense negativity surrounding the film online, drawing particular attention to the IMDB reviews and message boards. Worthers said:
"I can nitpick with the best of them, man, and kind of go down the list of things I saw on IMDB where they found holes in it, and go, 'You are f**king right,' If there was a big 10-ton robot coming outside that gas station, surely we would f**king hear it. And I missed that. So I'm going to be a bit better when I'm looking through my f**king scripts. So it raises my game a bit, because now I feel like an idiot for not saying it to McG, you know?"
Say what you will about Worthington, but it's hard not to respect his blunt honesty about the situation, rather than going on the catty defensive against negative reviews and comments.
