10 Weirdest Horror Movies You've Never Heard Of

7. Santa's Slay (2005)

Here's the story: In Santa's Slay, Father Christmas is depicted as the son of Satan, cursed by an angel to deliver presents and joy to children around the world for 1.000 years. The year is now 2005, and Santa's curse is finally at an end, meaning he is free to relive his evil, murderous past.

What more could you want? Santa's Slay is insanely silly and odd, but also weirdly creepy and unabashedly violent. It acts as a comedy-horror slasher film, in which Santa kills his victims using Christmas-inspired means of execution; he drowns people in eggnog, kills people with a Christmas tree and beats others with turkeys.

Sure, it's not going to win any awards for its genius, but is the ultimate so-bad-it's-good horror flick, completely carefree and just bizarre enough to collect a fanbase. Santa's Slay is pure cheese, but doesn't try to be anything else, and for that reason it just has to be seen.

Aidan Whatman hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
