In this deeply unsettling body horror, a young woman called Casey is bitten by an unseen creature whilst vacationing in Costa Rica. When she returns home, she begins to horrifically mutate, her senses heightening, her nightmares growing and her humanity slipping away. Like an insect, she starts laying eggs around her apartment, and loses the need for basic human necessities.

Bite is a dark and very disturbing horror flick, complete with horrific visuals of deterioration and gore. As Casey becomes more and more mutated, her friends and family keep checking on her, only to be killed one by one.

As far as body horrors go, it doesn't do much new from a plot standpoint, but with its increased gore and deeply uncomfortable scenes of violence and physical decay, it's definitely one of the sub-genres most bizarre and scary offerings.
