It’s a movie that satirizes American ‘young adult’ culture, whilst also bringing out themes of female empowerment in spite of the bizarre situation.

It’s an insanely wacky movie that doesn’t pull any punches with its tongue-in-cheek concept, but also delivers when it comes to character drama. It’s a surprisingly good film for such a wacky concept, because it uses its concept to full effect in order to deliver both comedy and horror.
