2. Lars And Bianca - Lars And The Real Girl (2007)
Successful relationships are all about communication, but in Lars and the Real Girl, Ryan Gosling opts for a partner that lacks the ability to speak. Gosling plays Lars, a sweet yet quirky, socially inept young man, who develops a romantic relationship with an anatomically correct sex doll, a RealDoll named Bianca. Now, Lars probably isnt the first guy to ever become attached to a silicone sex doll (weve all been there at one point or another). However, hes probably the only guy to form a strong emotional connection. Ultimately Lars manages to open up to his family and friends through his delusional romance with Bianca. Its a surprisingly touching, yet unquestionably weird, love story. Gosling, despite being probably the fourth handsomest man to ever live, really sells this portrayal of a socially awkward but utterly devoted boyfriend, and dont be surprised if you find yourself tearing up over these two lovebirds when its all said and done. Thankfully, Lars eventually graduates to spending his time with a real woman in the form of Kelli Garner. As for Bianca we hear that Chucky might be single.
