10 Weirdest Movie Appearances By Musicians

1. Michael Jackson - "Men In Black II"

Mj1 There€™s a plethora of weird stuff in the Men in Black franchise. Giant bugs. Aliens in people. Men whose heads can grow back. Men made up of flying robots. Talking dogs. Talking worms. The list is endless really. Yet none of the above are quite as peculiar as pop sensation Michael Jackson€™s brief cameo in the franchises€™ second instalment €“ where he€™s suited up to resemble the presence of an alien-fighting agent. The appearance is made even stranger in its execution, as the film cuts to MIB headquarters and the moonwalker abruptly pops up on the corporation€™s large conference-call screen. The King of Pop converses with head of operations Agent Zed (Rip Torn), asking the leader to allow him to join the Men in Black. Zed claims he can€™t hear MJ, and insouciantly strolls away as Jackson pleads €œHello?! I can be Agent M! Hello?!€. It all arrives from absolutely nowhere and despite being odd, it€™s pretty funny stuff. The joke resurfaces once more in the movie, as Zed tricks antagonist Serleena into taking a phone call which turns out to be MJ again; still insisting that he can be Agent M. It€™s a cameo that stands out as strange even in amongst three-eyed slugs from outer space, but at least it€™s amusing to watch.
