10 Weirdest Movies Quentin Tarantino Actually Wanted To Make

8. Mr. Blonde And Vincent Vega Return - Double V Vega

Quentin Tarantino Star Trek
Miramax Films

Tarantino's films have always had little nods to a shared universe, from hidden easter eggs, to recurring characters, to his classic Red Apple Cigarettes. However, not everyone knows that Michael Madsen's Mr. Blonde from Reservoir Dogs and John Travolta's Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction were born from the same blood. Even more interesting is that when developing Inglourious Basterds back in the 1990s, Quentin planned to give them their own spin-off prequel.

Not much is known about the film, other than that it would have taken place during the time Vincent was in Amsterdam, when he was running one of Marcellus Wallace’s clubs. His brother Vic would go to visit him, and we would finally see the two meet in person.

However, due to the age of both actors and the fact they both died in their respective films, Tarantino ruled out the prequel as "Kind of unlikely now", but did come up with a concept for a potential post-mortem sequel in an attempt to resolve the issue. According to Quentin, the film might have starred two of the siblings' older brothers, who meet up after the characters' deaths and set out on a course of bloody revenge, because of course they bloody do.
