10 Weirdest Presidential Portrayals In Film

In a movie that is all about time travel it is probably no surprise that a lot of important historical figures end up appearing in Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which stars two characters from the 1960s Rocky and Bullwinkle TV show.

Alongside the likes of Marie Antoinette and Robespierre, a number of US Presidents put in an appearance during the course of the film.

Perhaps most important is the appearance of George Washington, with Sherman's knowledge of the apocryphal nature of the famous cherry tree story being the trigger for Sherman's fight with Penny, which in turn leads to the Child Protection Agency investigating whether Mr. Peabody the dog is capable of raising a child.

This sets the duo on a string of time-travelling adventures, which eventually wreak havoc with the space-time continuum in the build to the climax. Just as it seems like Mr. Peabody is going to be taken away from Sherman, practically all of the historical figures that the pair have met on their journey chime in to say that Peabody is able to raise a human child, with the dog eventually getting a pardon from Washington himself.
