10 Weirdly Hot Cartoon Characters You Secretly Had A Crush On
4. Aladdin - Aladdin
The animation design of Aladdin was largely inspired by a young Tom Cruise, which in 1994 told you all you needed to know about the type of look the animators were going for: dreamboat. Aladdin is so adorable and charming that you're willing to forgive him pretty much anything. Which was lucky for Aladdin, because he did things that required forgiving with an appalling frequency. Let's be real here: he was a thief who stole pretty much anything he could get his hands on, a chronic liar incapable of being honest with Jasmine even after she made it abundantly clear that she would have been willing to move past his initial enormous lie, so long as he didn't lie anymore. But in spite of all this, he remains the hero of the film, the scrappy protagonist we all root for. Is it because of his tremendous moral fortitude and strength of character? Not likely. It probably has more to do with that handsome face of his and the way he looked in his tiny little vest.
