10 Well Known Actors Who Got Worse Over Time
3. Al Pacino
From one genre icon to another. Much like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino once held a place at the high table of crime film actors. He first came to everyone's attention as Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy, but would quickly broaden his work in other productions throughout the seventies and eighties.
By far his best known performance was 1983's Scarface. As the Cuban drug-lord Tony Montana, Pacino created one of the best-known cinematic gangsters.
But you can't overlook other efforts like Serpico and Carlito's Way either, or Donnie Brasco, Heat and Insomnia, which released just before his career declined in the 2000s.
Pacino was once a great star of the genre, but now he feels more like a parody of himself with films like Jack and Jill. This stinker landed him a Golden Razzie for worst supporting actor, although, like De Niro, he has starred in more promising efforts as of late, such as The Irishman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
