10 White Zombie/Rob Zombie Songs Inspired By Horror Films

1. Werewolf Women Of The S.S.

Album: Hellbilly Deluxe 2 (2010)

References: Taking inspiration from Nazisploitation epics such as Love Camp 7 and Ilsa She Wolf Of The S.S., Zombie created his own fake trailer for Grindhouse, the Tarantino/ Rodriguez tribute to exploitation, thinking it would one day become a feature.

When Grindhouse “underperformed” at the US box office, those plans were shelved so Zombie, to the gratitude of Nazi lycanthrope fans everywhere, turned it into a song. Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun subsequently became features, so hope springs eternal – after all, who doesn’t want to see Nicolas Cage as Fu Manchu?

Dialogue Samples: “Finally, the truth about Hitler’s diabolical plans to create a race of superwomen can be told….Werewolf Women Of The S.S.”

“We are now in total control of pure wolf!”

- Grindhouse (2007)
