Album: Hellbilly Deluxe (1998)

References: The song is built around narration from the trailer for The Undertaker And His Pals, a Z-grade cannibalism comedy in the tradition of Herschell Gordon Lewis’s Blood Feast (1963). The trailer is pure Drive-in era ballyhoo, attempting to “warn” viewers about a film where murders are committed by “scalpel slashing, arm twisting, axe hacking motorcycle maniacs.”

This turned out to be wishful thinking on the part of the filmmakers. After early screenings went badly, they excised most of the violence.

Dialogue Samples: “13 acres of Hell….”

- Trailer for The Last House On The Left (1972)

“Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to make the following statement….the young generation, that sick generation….impressionable young people….brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.”

- Trailer for The Undertaker And His Pals (1966)
