10 Wild Avengers: Age Of Ultron Rumours Which Ended Up Being Bullsh*t

7. The Very Different Look For The Vision

The news that The Vision was going to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron broke when a newspaper claimed to have inside information about Paul Bettany being on set a few weeks before filming began as he underwent various makeup tests to play the android. Perhaps there was some truth in that, but their description of what he looked like was waaaay off. According to this rumour, he was supposed to be completely white (a look The Vision has actually sported in the comic books), and when shooting did begin, it was claimed that he was on set during scenes set in World War II. Those were presumably the ones between Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter, and this led to speculation about his role in the sequel. Could it be that The Vision would only appear in World War II? After all, the original Human Torch was teased in Captain America: The First Avenger, and some even thought time travel might be answer. It obviously ended up being none of the above, and not a single one of the rumoured descriptions of The Vision's look ended up being even remotely accurate.
