10 Wild Predictions About X-Men: Days Of Future Past
7. Wolverine Will Get His Adamantium Back
Spoiler Alert: In The Wolverine, Logan loses his unbreakable claws (though not the metal on the rest of his body). With the announcement and development of another Wolverine movie, it's fair to assume that he's going to get those claws back eventually. We know that there will be an aged Logan in the film--don't be shocked if he has metal claws while the present version doesn't. In the comics, Wolverine was turned into Apocalypse's Horseman, Death, to get his adamantium back (Angel and Gambit have also had this job) by a process equally if not more painful than losing it in the first place. With that villain on the horizon in the near future, it is not a stretch to imagine that he might have a role to play in this film. Additionally, most fans are probably clamoring for unbreakable claws, or will be after a few especially impressive CGI brawls where the bone ones keep breaking and rapidly growing back.
