6. Sidney Makes A Surprise Appearance - Scream 6
Production on the sixth Scream film will soon be wrapping up, and though Paramount is playing its cards incredibly close to the chest as per the previous film, plausible details have nevertheless begun to seep out.
Mere days before Scream 6 began filming, it was announced that Neve Campbell wouldn't be appearing in the film as franchise protagonist Sidney Prescott, due to contract and salary negotiations falling through with Paramount.
This would mark the first time in the series that the character didn't appear in any of the movies, and yet if ViewerAnon can be believed - and he almost certainly can - Campbell did eventually quietly come to terms with Paramount, and will appear in Scream 6 in a small cameo role.
ViewerAnon claims that Campbell will return for a minor part in the sequel which ultimately sets up Sidney having a much larger part in Scream 7, which is already in the earliest stages of development.
Though they're not sure whether or not the marketing will allude to Campbell's presence in the film or not, you apparently shouldn't believe any claims that she'll be giving the movie a miss.
