5. Billy Dies At The End, Wonder Woman Brings Him Back To Life - Shazam: Fury Of The Gods

Footage from Shazam: Fury of the Gods screened at CinemaCon revealed a gag where the wizard Shazam (Djimon Hounsou) takes the form of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) to trick Shazam (Zachary Levi), yet it sounds like Diana Prince will also make a surprise appearance in the movie in earnest.

If plot rumours are true, then the film will climax with Billy Batson (Asher Angel) sacrificing himself to save the world. Billy dies, but just as the heroes bury him, the real Wonder Woman shows up, using her powers to bring Billy back to life.

Though few of us would ever believe that Billy was really going to die, this seems like a pretty neat way to revive him, while also being a fun payoff to the earlier Wonder Woman fake-out gag.
