1. A Tetris Trilogy Is Happening
You might be aware that a film adaptation of the iconic video game Tetris was announced back in 2014, but it was also recently confirmed that because the story is "too big" for one film, it will now be a trilogy.
The prospect of even one Tetris film becoming a reality is pretty hard to comprehend, but how three movies will be wrung out of it is anyone's guess. With the film set to shoot in China, the money men are clearly expecting an immense box office performance.
Are they crazy, or do they have the inside track on something snarky Internet commenters haven't even conceived of yet? As ever, time will tell, but it's hard to be optimistic.
