10 Worst Ever Accent Fails In Film

3. Keanu Reeves And Winona Ryder – Bram Stoker’s Dracula

First in this double whammy of failure, Keanu’s English accent and his hairpiece (it may actually be worse than Dracula’s double beehive) bloody suck. Playing Johnathan Harker, the English realtor who helps Count Dracula move to London, Keanu’s accent is often more puzzling than the fact that he has hardly aged in the last two decades. Real-life vampire?

Quite why anyone thought the kid from Bill & ted with the thick surfer accent would make a convincing Englishman remains to be seen, but it clearly didn't work.

Winona Ryder on the other hand actually does the English accent better than Keanu, which if taken on its own without comparison would be shocking, because it sounds less English than Anthony Hopkins doing a rather good Dutch accent as Van Helsing.
