10 Worst Ever MCU Post-Credit Scenes
3. Thor Returns To Earth - Thor: The Dark World
Whenever there is a ranking of the worst of any MCU aspect, you can pretty much guarantee that Thor: The Dark World will find a place on there somewhere. Even in the case of the post-credit scene, the movie managed to make one of the most boring ones to date.
With Thor having gone back to Asgard, the post-credit scene showed Jane Foster isolated and alone, despite being with Darcy and Erik. As she ate her cereal, she was disturbed by the rumbling of thunder before going out and embracing the God of said thunder.
So this told us that Thor was able to return to Earth, something that had already been made clear through the movie and The Avengers before it was entirely possible. Big ‘who cares’? It wasn't even Natalie Portman in the scene!
This was arguably one of the most pointless post-credit scenes ever, particularly as Jane was completely absent and out of Thor’s life by the time Ragnarok rolled around. It’s hard to imagine for Love and Thunder Taika Waititi will refer back to this specific scene to continue her story.
