10 Worst Instances Of Marvel Movies Dropping The Ball

1. Cloud Galactus

The Fantastic Four movies weren't great - there's no doubt about that. But they were what they were and it was no surprise that they didn't translate well to the screen in the modern era. The Fantastic Four are very old characters from a time when comic books were cheesy. Fans of modern comic book movies were never going to enjoy the characters being portrayed as they were. That said, the films didn't take themselves too seriously, they had fun along the way and, without scrutinising them at every level, if you just sit back and allow yourself to enjoy them, you do. But the portrayal of Galactus was simply unforgivable. The devourer of worlds - a giant cosmic humanoid in the comics - appeared in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer... as a giant cloud! Whose crazy idea was that? Hearing of Galactus' inclusion in the movie was an exciting thing. To have him being portrayed as such - and therefore not really having "him" at all - was Marvel's worst error to date. So there you have it - the ten worst instances of Marvel movies dropping the ball. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with the entries on this list?
