Sometimes an actor crops up in a film so wooden, it's a legitimate wonder how they landed the role in the first place - or, indeed, a role in any film. Jazz musician Putter Smith's performance as Mr. Kidd, one half of an unnervingly calm pair of assassins, is one of the worst performances ever seen in the franchise. He seems to lack basic acting skills, delivering each line with the enthusiasm and believability of a children's Christmas nativity play. Had Smith been granted a more central role in the film, he would surely have topped this list. Thankfully he was largely a background figure, given only a few lines to butcher.
