Roger Moore will always divide opinion. Some view him as one of the most recognisable Bonds, an actor who brought an otherwise steely character to life with his distinctively British humour and class. Others regard Moore as unnecessarily campy and comedic, infusing his films with an unwanted levity. Whatever your opinion on Moore, it's far easier to agree that his appearance in A View To A Kill was a mistake. 57 years old at the time of filming, he was simply far beyond his sell-by-date. Action sequences suffered as a result, as Moore (never the most mobile Bond even in his younger years) struggled to convincingly pull off 007's power and grace. Additionally, the less said about the film's sex scenes - featuring a pair of actresses decades younger than Moore - the better.
