10 Worst Live-Action Superhero Fights In Cinema History

5. Suicide Squad Vs. Enchantress - Suicide Squad

Superman 4
Warner Bros.

Suicide Squad is one of those movies that's hard to defend.

Despite an all-star cast, a massive budget and huge advertising campaign, it was uninteresting, poorly written and confusingly directed, and it flopped hard with fans.

The showdown between the Suicide Squad and Enchantress is as jumbled as the rest of the movie, taking place in a dark, smoky room, making it incredibly difficult to follow.

Luckily, there weren't many in the audience that still cared.

A particular low point is the extensive and unnecessary slow motion portion of the scene, set to a score so jarringly dramatic that instead of bringing moviegoers to the edge of their seats, it had them sigh in disbelief at the forced and artificial gravity of it all.

It isn't just for these reasons that Suicide Squad earned its place on this list, though.

The rest of the movie should have built up the characters enough for the audience to become more emotionally invested in the pay-off, but its many shortcomings only served to undermine what should have been a triumphant moment.

The best thing that can be said about the scene is that it brings the difficult watch that is Suicide Squad to an end.
