10 Worst Movie CGI Of 2020

6. The Car Chases - Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula

Train to Busan sequel Peninsula was one of 2020's most disappointing films, a fact compounded by the zombie thriller's eyeball-assaulting platter of trash-tier visual effects.

With its modest $16 million budget, there was only so much that returning director Yeon Sang-ho was ever going to get away with, and so it wasn't the smartest idea to try and stage a number of complex action sequences involving car chases and fleets of zombie.

The CGI vehicles in particular look like something out of a low-rent PS2 cutscene - hideously blurry blocks with unconvincing physics, while the digital zombies similarly look no better than what a half-talented VFX artist could cook up over a lazy Friday afternoon.

You can appreciate Sang-ho's desire to up the sequel's ante, but he clearly needed more realistic expectations about how far he could stretch his budget.
