10 Worst Movie Mistakes Of 2021 (So Far)

1. Wrong Phone - Godzilla VS Kong

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
Warner Bros

Godzilla vs. Kong has got to be the most nonsensical film of the year. Considering the main villain is a robot powered by an alien's skull and that's not the most farfetched part of the plot, that should you give an idea of how ridiculous this movie is.

Of course, it seems silly to complain about inconsistencies in this monster crossover. Godzilla vs. Kong is about a giant ape fighting a radioactive dinosaur. It's not supposed to make sense!

But there is one mistake that is so ridiculous and yet, so easily avoidable, you won't believe none of the film crew clocked it. About 80 minutes in, Bernie discovers a secret base, proving the government has been hiding secrets about the Titans for years. He instantly whips out his flip phone and takes pictures, saying, "Yeah, going viral".

However, Bernie's flip phone clearly doesn't have a camera. What makes this mistake funnier is how you can hear the camera shutter sound effect as Bernie 'snaps' pictures with his non-camera phone. How did nobody on set have a spare camera phone while filming this scene?
