From the director of The Transporter Refuelled (!) comes this stamina-draining two-hour slog of an action-thriller, starring Henry Golding as a hitman who discovers his six targets have all been hired to kill each other - including him.

The idea's fun enough, yet this joyless, almost parodically formulaic genre film has desperately little to offer fans of, say, the John Wick movies.

Packed with atrocious dialogue, plotting both snoozy and predictable, an excess of characters, anonymously staged action, and risible visual effects, this is an absolute waste of everyone involved.

Golding is a likeable enough actor yet just can't thrive in junky action joints like this and Snake Eyes, while Sam Neill gets little to do beyond hamming it up for the cheap seats, and the usually reliable Noomi Rapace makes an absolute meal of what's apparently supposed to be a Southern American accent.

Sadly there's little in the way of unintentional hilarity to see it through, either: it's just boring and way too long at 113 minutes.
