10 Worst Netflix Movies

7. The Last Days Of American Crime

If ever there was a poster child for how needlessly long blockbuster movies are these days, look no further than The Last Days Of American Crime. While it's not a bad idea for a movie, in fact it could have worked gangbusters, what we got instead was a bloated mess of crime movie clichés and slow pacing.

At a lean and limber 90 minutes, this movie could have been a lot of fun. Hell, even at just two hours it could have still worked just fine. But this movie does not have enough story going for it to warrant two and a half hours.

Sure the nature of streaming has basically killed the idea of film structure since every movie made nowadays has to account for the inevitability of someone watching it in a format meant for binge viewing and can be paused at any time, but Last Days does not provide the answers to this conundrum. Add onto that a decent cast given absolutely nothing to work with and a meandering plot and you get one of the hardest movies to get through when making this list.
